Crucial Fiya

Led by Ralph Dujour, Crucial Fiya is one of the East Coast's most prominent Roots Reggae bands with a multi-faceted blend of lover Reggae, R&B, and Caribbean Flavor.

Having played with legends such as Frankie Paul, Everton Blender, Glen Washington, Johnny Osborne, Turbulence, Mikey Dread, The Itals, The Meditations, Luciano, Fanton Mojah, Anthony B., Ras Shiloh, Jah 9 and Lutan Fyah, Crucial Fiya continues to be one of the strongest and most upcoming Roots Reggae bands in the nation.

Soulful and energizing, dub Addis combines intricate Ethiopian melodies with the rhythms of Reggae to create an original sound that moves both the heart and mind. Continuing the rich traditions of Ethiopian music and the legacy of the great Reggae artists, the music of dub Addis unites people of all backgrounds in a celebration of life. For over a decade dub Addis has shared their passion with their audiences. They have shared the stage with Huge Masekela, The Wailers, Steel Pulse, Arrested Development, and many others.

Likkle slave

The Jamaican-born artist who notably possesses with the gift of clairaudience, Likkle Slave has mastered the art of storytelling through music.

His creations are a perpetual experiment in combining learned elements from several disciplines. Likkle's work is best described as an amalgamation of island life and his experience adjusting to life in the American South.

THE HOURGLASS KIDS

The Hourglass Kids began as a group of high school friends jamming in the various basements of Hickory, NC. Over time, they have evolved into a seven-piece reggae-jam-rock collective known for their mind-melting live performances. Pulling from the musical creativity of all seven members and the unique lyricism of four songwriters and vocalists, The Kids traverse a breadth of stylistic and emotional terrain that includes roots reggae, psychedelic rock, neo-soul, hip-hop, and jazz-rock.

  • Is there an age limit? Nope, this event is ALL AGES (As most of our community programs).

  • Will there be alcohol for sale? Yes, 2 bars available. One outside, and one inside. The venue also has a FULL coffee shop inside. You will need to acquire a wristband in order to drink by showing your ID at the check in tent!

  • Pet friendly? Yes! Although there might be a lot of people.

  • What about food? Yep - we got 3-5 food trucks for you!

  • ADA friendly? Yes, ramps available if needed.

  • Bathrooms? Absolutely.
